Funding the first session

There is no cost involved for the first session, JNF funds this. We understand the importance of finding the right therapist that you want to build a relationship with.

Ongoing financial support
Your therapist will advise if you are eligible for funding from JNF. This will be continuously reviewed throughout your journey. As we are all individuals, we can’t say how many sessions you may need, this is something for you and your therapist to assess.
How do I select a therapist?
All of our partners meet our criteria as defined here at the National Association of Counsellors, Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists www.nachp.org
Who do I speak to first?

You can choose to contact your chosen counsellor directly or you can email Joshua Nolan Foundation team at info@joshuanolanfoundation.org and we will arrange for a counsellor to contact you and arrange an initial session.

Unable to attend a session?
We understand that some things are unavoidable, but please give your therapist as much notice as possible should you need to cancel. If you cancel a session at less than 24 hours, JNF is charged, which impacts on our ability to fund this much needed resource. If you need to cancel, please contact your therapist as soon as possible to rearrange.
