About
I am a qualified psychotherapist with a background in medicine. My main therapy approaches are psychodynamic and person-centred within a pluralistic framework, which means that I work collaboratively with the client and may use different approaches (similar to integrative therapy), depending on what can be the most useful for the client at the moment. I help people from diverse backgrounds with the utmost sensitivity and respect for their particular circumstances.
After receiving an MD diploma in Latvia in 2003, I completed a post-graduation specialty program in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychosomatic medicine. After my relocation to Scotland in 2017, I completed the course in MSc in Counselling at the Abertay University which is BACP accredited course.
I offer individual therapy for adults in English, Russian and Latvian
