About 
I am a person-centred counsellor (COSCA counsellor member) and I work mostly with individuals who are neurodivergent, queer, or have had other minority group experiences. I am also autistic, trans, queer, mixed race, and grew up between two cultures, so my practice is very much embedded within and informed by these communities, as well as my own lived experience. A lot of my work relates to exploring who we are as individuals, what our needs might be, and making sense of what it can be like to be different, either from those around us or from the expectations and assumptions society might place on us, and the trauma and challenges (but also joys) that can come up as a result. My approach to counselling focuses on collaboration and creativity - everyone has different needs and different ways of expressing and getting in touch with their internal states, so my aim is for us to work together and figure out what might be most helpful for you, whether that's talking, using art and writing, reading and sharing information and strategies, or being outside in nature, learning about and gaining a sense of safety and stability from the natural world. I have particular experience working with late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD adults, and neurodivergent individuals struggling with anger or meltdowns.
