Life can be really tough at times, and you may end up feeling overwhelmed, anxious, lonely, depressed, angry or maybe you don’t know how you feel, you just know that something isn't right - well it's at these times that talking to an experienced counsellor can really help you through these tricky times and find your way forward. As an adult and young person's counsellor, I can help you navigate your way through this. Working together, at your own pace, we can pay attention to all of your story - even the most difficult parts - so that we can start to understand yourself on a deeper level, learning to accept yourself along the way. Being a person-centred counsellor, and working with people of all ages, I draw on various tools and techniques to help you get the most out of therapy, meeting your individual needs and supporting you through whatever comes up. My career in mental health stems over a decade, and since qualifying as a counsellor, I have worked in schools, various charities (bereavement, lone parent, young person's), GP surgeries and in private practice. My qualifications and further training are BACP and COSCA approved. I work with young people age 12+ and all adults. I am currently offering online or phone counselling.
